Belated congratulations from me Norrie, nice to get a bit of recognition for all the time you devote to recording Glasgow.

Did I see you out on Dukes Road, getting a newspaper, on New years Day unsure.gif

We were out for a wee walk around lunchtime on New Years Day so I may not have been as sharp as I usually am (which is not very sharp at all tongue.gif ). I know the shop you speak of, I sometimes walk there if the shop on Woodside is closed (I keep forgetting about Friday afternoons rolleyes.gif )

Hi folk , among others I have been involved with a Resident Artist from The Citizens Theatre,Sarah Fishlock who has produced a booklet called A Citizen's Archive for our photos, I am privelaged to have had one of my photos on the front cover and several inside the book, that I have taken or were donated to me while I worked in Gorbals
I am trying to find out if the booklet is for sale to the general public
Turns out you can get it In the Box office of the Citizens Theatre or Street Level on Trongate

.

Bye for now, Norrie

Given the controversy regarding the demolition of the Red Road flats (see link below) Norrie's excellent photograph in his post #26 of the Queen Elizabeth flats demolition in 1993 is particularly interesting.

Perhaps it illustrates that there is indeed interest in witnessing demolitions of this sort.
