You have every right to be proud of him but I would be wary of Benfica, language culture plus
home sickness will all count against him.Besides. if he is really good the big money is down south
not Portugal.

Dont worry man we have all had Wednesday nights. thumbup.gif The one at the jags was my nephew. The last I heard he had taken an apprenticeship. Next time I talk to my brother I will find out more.

Duke jumper I don't think Portugal will be a big leap for him. His old man is Portuguese and he has uncles and aunts living in Lisbon.

Hi Dave, obviously having relatives there makes a big difference. Benfica was the team that ended
Real Madrid's grip on the European Cup but they were famously cursed by a sacked coach that they
would never again win another European Cup and over 50 years later they havnt.

The World has gone mad.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51858736

What is the point, lower league games barely get a couple of hundred attending, nightclubs get more, so when are they and shopping malls getting closed down?

All public transport, shops, bars/restaurants next, if not why not?

Oh, and Holyrood and Westminster too. yes.gif

I would propose they use a skill based method of sorting the final league placings, how about rock, paper, scissors (best of three of course), magnetic fishing or, perhaps, tiddlywinks huh.gif

Nothing would surprise me anymore Ash, i mean the Wales v Scotland rugby match is going ahead tomorrow so whats the difference, we would have had around two and a half thousand tops tomorrow against Alloa FFS. angry.gif

Actually on the 3.00pm news the Wales V Scotland game is now off, now all we need is public transport, shopping malls, shops, churches, parliaments etc etc to be cancelled or closed. yes.gif
