You probably like me have inherited old photographs which have been passed down from one generation to the next without anybody having labelled each with the name of the person(s) in the photograph, or the date and place it was taken. So can you help with this one?

Fortunately the names of the photographers is printed in gold lettering beneath the image as Watson & Wilson and they had studios at 83 Jamaica Street Glasgow and at Kilbowie Road Clydebank.

It would be very much appreciated if anyone can tell me about the photographers and when they were trading. The Scotsman Archive refers to a John Willson of 83 Jamaica Street in articles dated 1908 and 1912 which helps, but maybe you know more about the studios. The premises at 83 Jamaica Street was previously occupied from 1867 to 1887 by John URIE photographer and artist.

Thanks.
