Hi
I am looking for the name of a cafe I used to got to.
It was on the corner of pollockshaws road
the guy who ran it was grumpy old man lol
it had a big old fahioned coke chilling machine
anyone know it`s name thanks any help
it is doing my head in i cant remember lol

lol i know iforgot that, i would say the ens just as u go by the plazza dancing place
2min walk from there, and ther was a street just accross the road called nursery street i used to stay there.
i think there is a mcdonalds there now.

Hi cupcake, MacDonald's is adjacent to Nursery St. Further past MacDonalds at Calder St, Pollokshaws Rd, was the ANGUS CAFE,. Hope that solves your query! biggrin.gif

There thanks for help and it was on the edge of polloksahaws road u right ther right on corner
God I used to live in nersery street was in there all the time 1981 and Angus dosent ring a bell
You sure we are talking of same cafe thanks for your help.

the cafe at the corner of calder st was the angus. its owner was bill angus he had a son and two daughters. i can assure you he was not a dour old man. i meet my wife in the cafe and we have been married for over 50 yrs. any off the old crowd still around be good to hear from you.

Hi was that Calder st and Pollockshaws that was my grandfather Louie s cafe
no indian restaurant called LA Hore he owned Hillfoottearooms and then after pollockshaws movedto the Garscube rd cafe Louie's

are you sure my grandfather owned that cafe Louis Fargnoli he had one son went to canada and two daughters one being my mother he also owned hillfoot tearooms and the cafe on the garscube rd
