Tic outclassed by BMG , thank goodness their top strikers were injured!

They will be fit for the return leg, another hammering coming up. 😮
Conceded 12 goals in three games.
Was Brown playing last night. Lol.
Ah well back to the Mickey Mouse league.
At least they can beat this bad lot of teams in it.

Thought before the start it might be 1-0 Celtic or 0-0 but ten minutes in I could see the only team running of as winners would be the team playing in Green and Black wink.gif

Before the game I thought the same Dave. Celtic needed to be at the top of their game but they were poor.

bayern were 1/5 to beat BMG today, and are up 2-0 at halftime ! looks like that win against the Celtic might have taken a lot out of them.could be celtic might also have a Euro hangover tomorrow,no doubt that what Gers will be hoping for.

A good result for Celtic and an even better performance. In a way the game shows up how poorly they played in the first game, but at least some pride was restored in Germany. They were unlucky not to sneak a winner.

GG.

Celtic certainly played better and could have won the game had they taken their chances and it was a decent result. Commentators are saying that they have kept their chances of European football alive with the draw. With a home game against Barcelona and an away game to Man City to come, there's more chance of me winning the lotto jackpot than Celtic staying in Europe huh.gif The reported 26m reward will come in handy though rolleyes.gif

The odds of Celtic getting third are about 12/1 ie they have to beat either Barca or Man City and hope BMG lose both their games. Celtic would have been hoping Barca had won last night and thus brought a weakened team to Parkhead, I think they should park the bus and hope to catch
Barca [or City] with a lucky breakaway.

Celtic are 11/1 to beat Barcelona on the 23rd, this must be a record price for Celtic to win a home game.

Well, the section pretty much ended with Celtic at the bottom of the group as anticipated. The team have performed well in some games and not so well in others, the games against BM were always going to dictate what happened next.

Whilst not taking anything away from Barcelona and their victory last night, I was looking at a photo of the penalty incident in today's papers. It shows, what I think is, a remarkable Suarez during the tackle with his arms out, already claiming the penalty before he's hit the ground rolleyes.gif I've played a bit of fitba and, on occasions, have been brought down in the penalty area by opposition defenders. I never had the skill to do any more than save my heid from from sustaining collateral damage in the process eyebrow.gif

Was really good to see Celtic beat the Teddy Bears at the weekend - although Rangers played reasonably well the difference in class between them was manifest and it will be that way until Rangers make some better buys and get rid of some of the dross that they have......

We could all say that about our clubs, but where exactly do you expect them to get the money from?
