A very happy birthday to one amazing lady from the old boards...Wee Mags...I hope you are well and still enjoying life.Until just recently I used to pass your old street on my way into the gym in the morning before work.Rarely get the chance now although managed in last weekend I managed in for an hour or so on Sunday....all changed,huge new Health Centre about to open where the old school was and masses of new houses...First chance I get will take a camera and show you the changes.

I realised too late that he was my full cousin,I didn`t join the boards early enough,What a shame.I would have enjoyed knowing him ( on paper anyway) and the sense of humour doesn`t surprise me,it runs in the family biggrin.gif

Thanks to Toerag and Wombat. I have been away visiting my son who has moved to Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, although it rained two days I was there tongue.gif but the snow is almost gone from here now. Wombat your picture of Murphy made my day.

Well came back to the UK a couple of weeks ago for my Husbands Mothers Funeral what happens to family when a love one passes. They turn evil and all because of a WILL and everything being left to that one person only even though they were never there when she needed them heck we flew in from the USA at the drop of a hat and I am paraplegic. Well it has turned nasty and I hate (nothing against the people) English funerals. My Ma passed in Glasgow and what a difference we had a wake told stories drunk some whiskey no nasty words. Well I also got a shock you have to pay for carrier bags in Tesco what the heck. My granddaughter visited Edinburgh for the Castle and she loved it she said Nana came from a great place Scotland and next time she wants to visit Glasgow and see some of the sites I grew up with she will enjoy that she is so American and I would love her to see my Glasgow with her Mom. The weather here is up to 95 degrees looking forward to the fall when it gets a little cooler not much.
