Kinda looks that way, Ash. Less aggro but less pleasure also!

When I retired I did woodwork as a hobby I enjoyed but there's only so many wooden things that can be made for the house and friends. Then I found Stained glass and reckoned it would be a good thing to get into. A few wee strokes and an operation soon put paid to that kind of idea.
Now I have discovered Raw Cakes and the beauty of them is even when It comes ot as a disaster it still tastes nice.

The top cake was a Passion Fruit and Avocado cheesecake.
The bottom one Mango and Banana cheesecake.

very professional looking your cakes. I love your stove top,I had that in the house we had built, but the next 2 houses had gas,I have a gas stove top in this house and I hate it,it`s dirty, and a pest to clean. So many people say ,you have to love gas,I dont I hate it.

Thanks taurus, what I like about them is there's no baking. All you need is a food processor and a fridge.

The good thing about these ones is that they are made from fruit and nuts and are vegan. Not that im vegan I just find it a fascinating that such a great taste can come from pulverised the ingredients into a liquid and they come out tasting so good. I have people already asking to buy so I don't have that problem of having to eat them myself. lol

Pinterest or YouTube Alex although when the recipice calls for Coconut Oil dont use it. Coconut oil is used as a Gelatine replacement but its problem is it melts at room temperature and the cake melts and collapses. Not so good in this climate.
If your not worried about the vegan part just use gelatine.

Good for you Dave. I'm impressed by your resilience as much as anything. I do much of our cooking and hunt out variations on a theme, things we both like but a bit different from the day to day stuff. As for gas, I'm a fan, as for cleaning, where's my mammy biggrin.gif
