Hi Ritchie. I would recommend them to everyone, they're really good fun and really interesting at the same time. Its amazing how you forget things and then a wee nudge brings it all back To be honest though, I dont remember being taught a lot of the stuff thats in these book, so I'm still learning. I think there is a collection of these book, all on a variety subjects. Mary

Many Glasgow schools cannot fall any lower as they have been demolished. I have to admit that the Glasgow population is also considerably lower than say the 50's.

I was really surprised that no one appears to have picked up on the survey that suggests the North East of Glasgow has the highest figures for adults without qualifications in Britain, about 1 in 3 (or did I miss something?).

I attach an article from the Herald which explains the survey and another, which I think makes interesting reading on the subject.
