Davie, great job on the photo's, I loved the town, I miss walking about and getting down there.
We don't have a town to speak of here, all we have are Malls, I hate those things no fresh air.

Thanks again
Lennox

Thanks for the photographs, I must be honest I didn't recognise some of the places, I worked in Waterloo St. in an office facing the bus station, I don't think the bus station in Waterloo st. would still be there, recognised Hope St. because I read the name, and if Melody hadn't said it was C&A I don't think I would have recognised that either, think one of the last pictures was of Sauchiehall St. looking toward Charing Cross, I think I recognised the fountain at Charing Cross in the distance, or is the fountain away to? I used to Stay in Kent Rd/ when I waqs yoounger and it was just at the Mitchell Library, and we spent loads of time in Kelvingrove Park, I see they are thinking of bringing the bandstand back to life, hope they do used to enjoy it there.

Great pictures Davie. That's it, what with yours and Claptons's photos I'll just have to have a trip back home this year. I't been 5 years and I didn't have a lot of time to spend in Glasgow then so I can't wait to get back. Thanks for all the memories and all the places I don't recognize, I did know it was C & A though as I walked past it every day coming down Cambridge Street from Shamrock Street to get the 10A bus going west on Bath Street.

I am so sorry folks for jumping in there about C&A believe it or not I totally forget about you all living so faraway. I might have had the decency to let everyone else have a stab at it. I seem to just think of us all living in this wee machine. Brilliant picture Davie totally forgot ma manners, typical Glaswegian I was that busy trying to be smart as usual. unsure.gif
