Worked in all above dj in first 2 did lights in others this was all between 1974-80 anyone remember me ( David Hamilton )

Mind you speaking about the weather might have put them off.

Last Mad Hatters (Rag Ball) at Tiffany's was about 83 if I recall (helped organise it). It then moved to smaller venues as interest generally wained.
When I firast saw this thread I thought I may have known you, but saw your dates and did my sums... The Davie that I knew who Dj'd around glasgow was at strathclyde Uni around 81 which means you sorta predated him.

The change in license laws which meant dance halls could open and serve drink till late was one of the other things which brought down the demise of rag balls

Was that Dave Scott at Strathclyde?

was out with my pal one week night up Sauchiehall st for a drink and when we came out we noticed the Locarno was open and went in, was a rag ball and what a night we had, was great...
